Bangladesh’s investment reforms were discussed at a UNCTAD commission meeting in Geneva, Invest Bangladesh said in a statement dated 3 September.

The agency described efforts to simplify approvals, improve coordination and expand digital investor services. It said the discussion drew on a review of the country’s investment policies.

The statement also reported progress on foreign investment and regulatory changes. Those assessments are attributed to the government investment agency; this brief does not independently evaluate their economic impact.
