NASA has added Relativity Space’s Terran R launch service to its NLS II contracting framework, the agency announced on 9 September.

The arrangement allows the service to compete for future missions. It does not itself announce a particular spacecraft launch or launch date.

The framework permits new providers and vehicles to join through an annual process. Its ordering period runs through June 2030, with performance extending through December 2032.
