SANn Asia covers South Asia and international affairs. This policy sets out the standards for our editorial work.

Accuracy and sourcing

Reports should be checked before publication, identify their sources and distinguish verified facts from unconfirmed information. Images should have accurate captions and credits. File photographs must not be presented as photographs of a current event.

Independence and transparency

News, opinion and advertising should be clearly distinguished. Relevant conflicts of interest should be disclosed. Automated or AI-assisted material requires editorial review before publication.

Fairness and corrections

Reporting should provide relevant context and a fair opportunity to respond to significant allegations. Substantive errors should be corrected clearly and promptly.
