Bangladesh’s players were fined five per cent of their match fee for a slow over-rate against Sri Lanka in a Women’s Asia Cup group match in Dubai, according to an ICC statement on 8 September.

The side was assessed as one over short after time allowances. Captain Nigar Sultana Joty accepted the sanction, so no formal hearing was required.
